Dear Courageous Ones,
When was the last time you really laughed?
I mean—the kind of laughter that makes your cheeks hurt, your eyes water, and your soul breathe again. The kind that feels like sunlight breaking through a heavy cloud.
We often underestimate the medicine hidden inside laughter. In the world of healing and growth, we talk so much about boundaries, self-awareness, and shadow work—but sometimes what our hearts need most is a good laugh.
As I often remind my clients, “Healing doesn’t always look like tears—it sometimes sounds like laughter echoing through the room after a hard truth.”
Laughter is nature’s reset button. It loosens what pain has tightened. It brings oxygen to the body, lightness to the mind, and connection to the spirit. Even in the hardest seasons of my own life—the ones that felt impossible to climb out of—it was laughter that reminded me I was still alive, still human, and still capable of joy.
I’ve learned that when we give ourselves permission to laugh, we also give ourselves permission to live again.
“You can’t hold grief and giggles in the same breath—one will always soften the other.”
So, find what makes you laugh. Watch a silly movie. Swap stories with an old friend. Let your dog’s goofy grin remind you that joy doesn’t have to be earned—it can be invited.
If you’re walking through a storm right now, I see you. Take a moment to let light in. Healing isn’t only in the work you do; it’s also in the moments that make your soul sigh with relief.
Because sometimes, “the bravest thing you can do after a heartbreak is laugh again.”
Keep laughing, keep healing, and keep showing up for your own joy.
Big Big Love,
